The integrated combination piece features a flip-up wooden seat paired with a curved backrest, engineered to serve the student sitting in the row behind it by attaching directly to the front side of a sloped desktop. All of the wooden elements are beautifully crafted from solid maple, showcasing a tight, uniform grain and a warm golden-honey finish complete with smooth, rounded safety corners, a built-in circular inkwell cutout, and a recessed pencil groove along the top edge. Structurally holding the unit together is a heavy, ornate cast-iron frame finished in industrial matte black, which sweeps down into curved feet securely mounted onto parallel wooden runner skids to protect modern flooring and ensure stability.
