Description
Vintage Mahogany and Olive Burl Media Chest / Hidden Component Cabinet. This versatile, heirloom-quality accent chest features a brilliant dual-purpose design masquerading as a traditional 4-drawer Bachelor's chest. The exterior framework is crafted from rich, warm mahogany, beautifully framing the front drawer panels and top surface which showcase highly figured, striking olive burl veneers. Cleverly engineered for modern or vintage electronics, the top faux-drawer section pivots and pulls outward, working in tandem with a hidden flip-up/lift top mechanism to neatly tuck away media components. Below the moving console shelf, the lower faux drawers open to reveal an expansive, open storage bay equipped with an adjustable interior shelf. Complete with ornate, historical brass batwing pulls, an engraved center escutcheon, and classic bracket feet, this statement piece is in excellent vintage condition with an immaculate finish and minor surface wear from gentle use.
