Description
This antique round oak pedestal dining table showcases classic late 19th to American craftsmanship, built with a versatile split-pedestal expansion design.
When fully closed, the table presents a beautifully grained, circular oak top resting on a thick, central cylindrical column anchored by four elegantly curved, out-swept legs fitted with rolling casters. Upon opening the table can accommodate six leaves.
Fully extended into a spacious oval shape, the table maintains excellent stability by distributing its weight across the dual split-pedestal bases. The rich golden oak finish accentuates the prominent wood grain across the tabletop, though the extension leaves exhibit a noticeably darker, un-weathered patina from decades of safe storage away from everyday light.
