Description
This stately antique Edwardian drop-center dressing table dates to the turn of the 20th century (circa 1890–1910) and is expertly crafted from rich solid mahogany. The lower half showcases a distinct step-down configuration with two raised side drawer pedestals flanking a lower central deck, all topped with white marble slabs. The piece is anchored by an elegant upper gallery featuring shapely, curved side mirrors that frame a large central oval mirror, all fitted with original thick beveled glass. Directly above this mirror assembly sits a prominent crown detailed with refined neoclassical inlay, adding a formal architectural touch to the design. Anchored by decorative metal swing pulls on the drawers, the structure is completed by two small elevated jewelry or glove boxes positioned directly below the side mirrors.
