Description

Vintage Early American Colonial Revival farmhouse drybar buffet with hutch produced by the Nathan Hale Furniture Company. The upper section features Welsh styling with an open plate-rail display shelf and scalloped top valance with decorative spindle gallery rails built into the sides to display plates or small spice jars. The lower section features three parallel utility drawers over a three-door cabinet base featuring classic batwing brass pull hardware and traditional arched-raised panels on the doors. Bracket feet with serpentine accents. Circa 1991.

Originally based in Red Lion, Pennsylvania, before later operating manufacturing facilities in places like Amesbury, Massachusetts, Nathan Hale was highly regarded from the mid-20th century through the early 1980s for producing excellent, upper-medium quality solid wood furniture (primarily utilizing northern hard pine, oak and maple.
