Description

Antique Alabama Miller Pottery 15 Gallon Stoneware Crock. Features their signature clover leaf along the front.

Alabama Miller stoneware history originates with Abraham Miller, who started the family business in Alabama in 1865 after moving from Pennsylvania. He learned pottery from Francis Lacoste, a French immigrant, married his daughter, and established a business near Mobile before moving to Perry County. The pottery business passed down through generations, including Eric Miller, the fourth-generation potter who currently operates the shop with his son Steve, the sixth generation.
