Pair of vintage Spode china dinner plates from The Blue Room Collection. Named for the display room at the Spode factory where a wide assortment of blue and white transferware was exhibited, Blue Room collection features Spode archival patterns. Underglaze printed from hand engraved copper plates. “Byron Groups” First Introduced c. 1835, showing a cluster of flowers at the center of a dense, swirling, foliate border. And “Girl at Well” First Introduced c. 1822, showing a young maid collecting water from a well pump in a garden landscape, bordered with an array of flowers. Made in England.
