An impressive antique 19th Century Mother or Pearly Inlaid Console, Game, Dining or Center Table. A rectangular form made from rosewood with mortise and tenon construction featuring inset gray marble top over a mother-of-pearl inlaid and pierced foliate frieze with birds and butterfly. Each leg has a figural chimera and mask carving at the top over an inlay design showing a bouquet within a basket over a ribboned and tasseled accent. Mother of Pearl framework is contined throughout the on all four sides of the table. A truly exceptional table showcasing breathtaking work. Signed beneath the stone

Good Antique Condition; bowing to the legs from age as well as missing mother of pearl inlays, most notably to the top from surface wear. The table is structurally sound
