An impressive oriental chinoiserie Tempus Fugit Grandfather Clock made in Okinawa Japan, circa 1970s. Hand Crafted from oak with pagoda form crown and dragon motif throughout. Features central windows flanked by barley twisted and dragon carved posts. The arched central window is surrounded by Greek key carving and rests over a beautiful lower panel with low relief geisha carved scene. The sides of the clock are are open at the center allowing the pendulum and weights to be seen from all angles. The upper portion has a pierced calligraphy window besides the clock allowing the chimes to warm your room when striking.
