Vintage Brass Navigar Necesse Martime Nautical Ships Chronometer Box Clock

Description

Navigare necesse Est Authentic Models desktop clock, (Amsterdam London Paris), fashioned after an original by the famous London instrument maker, John Poole. The inlaid case is solid wood, mahogany finished with green felt lining. The brass cased clock features Roman numerals and is mounted in concentric rings, called gimbals. Gimbal rings compensated for the pitching and rolling of the ship. Mermaid Trademark, Makers to the Admiralty, Navigare Necesse Est, Authentic Models.
