Antique Victorian side by side secretary desk and curio bookcase, circa 1900s. Made of quartersawn or "tiger" oak The body of the cabinet includes a curved glass bookcase and drop front secretary with ornate trim. Secretary opens to a writing surface with drawer and cubbies. Includes three lower drawers for storage with ornate brass hardware. The cabinet is supported by five legs with tapered front feet.
Condition
The cabinet is missing the original topper or crown. At some point the mirror above the desk portion and crown were removed1. The cabinet is structurally solid. There are some signs of use and age. Some missing veneer on inner desk surface
