Description
1960s Vintage Hekman Furniture Faux Bamboo Side Table with Pull-Out Tray. Crafted by the renowned Hekman Furniture Co. of Grand Rapids, Michigan, this exceptional Mid-Century / Hollywood Regency style end table features a striking, multi-paneled bookmatched olive ash burl veneer top with a gracefully shaped, flared-corner gallery rim. Ingeniously designed for modern or traditional living spaces, it boasts a hidden, smoothly operating black laminate slide-out drink tray accented with an antiqued brass ring pull. The structure is supported by beautifully turned, classic faux-bamboo legs that frame a lower tier fitted with a tightly woven natural cane/rattan shelf. Retaining its original inspection tag hand-signed from the factory, this rock-solid accent piece is in excellent vintage condition with gorgeous original wood coloration and only minor surface wear from gentle use.
