Description

Up for sale is a fantastic, instant collection of vintage 1:64 scale die-cast toy vehicles dating from the mid-to-late 1960s, complete with a rare period-correct carrying case.
The centerpiece of this lot is a vintage 1966 Mattel Miniature Cars Vinyl Carrying Case. Released by Mattel just two years before the debut of Hot Wheels, this classic piece of toy history features vibrant graphic illustrations of mid-century sports cars and utility vehicles on the front cover.

Accompanying the case is a massive assortment of 34 vintage die-cast vehicles, overwhelmingly consisting of highly collectible Lesney Matchbox "Regular Wheels" models from the pre-Superfast era. The collection represents a wonderful cross-section of 1960s British craftsmanship, spanning commercial trucks, emergency service vehicles, and classic passenger cars.
