Description

This antique umbrella and cane stand is crafted from solid mahogany with a dark, rich finish that accentuates the dense, fine grain of the wood. The upper grid framework is partitioned into six individual rectangular slots designed to keep walking sticks, canes, or umbrellas neatly separated and upright, anchored at each corner by decorative turned finial caps. Supporting the upper grid are four slender, elegant mahogany spindles accented by ring-turned detailing. The posts extend down into a deep, solid-paneled rectangular base box designed to collect dripping water, elevated slightly off the floor by four sturdy, tapered block legs.
