This pair of antique Victorian Gothic Revival church pews is crafted from premium quartersawn oak, showcasing a prominent, distinctive flecked grain pattern throughout the wood. Each pew features a long, smooth bench layout outfitted with a removable, tufted seat cushion upholstered in a neutral, geometric-patterned fabric. The highly detailed end panels are sculpted with traditional architectural elements, including pointed Gothic arches, carved trefoils, and a small flower rosette accent.The armrests terminate in elegant, scrolled volutes decorated with carved multi-petal floral roundels. Small, numbered brass tags—specifically displaying numbers 37, 38, and 67, 68—are securely riveted directly onto the curved armrests, indicating their historical placement inside a congregation. The back of the pews includes integrated fixed wooden book racks supported by heavy decorative iron hardware, designed to hold hymnals or Bibles.
