This 1980s Vintage Postmodern "Laser" Uplighter Floor Lamp is an iconic Italian design designed by Max Baguara for lighting manufacturer Lamperti. This sculptural torchiere blends structural lightness with minimalist geometric rigor, defined by a towering column made from a thick panel of clear Murano glass. The transparent glass stem appears to float effortlessly between a white lacquered square metal base and a matching white hemispherical uplighter shade mounted at the top. When illuminated by its halogen bulb, the fixture casts light upwards toward the ceiling while simultaneously diffusing an atmospheric glow down through the polished vertical edges of the glass pane itself
