Description

This 5-piece antique set features Victorian-era semi-porcelain dinnerware in the "Waldorf" pattern, manufactured between 1891 and 1894 by the New Wharf Pottery Company of Staffordshire, England. The collection consists of four luncheon plates and one deep soup bowl, all showcasing the distinctive deep cobalt blue transferware styling known as "Flow Blue," where the ink intentionally bled into the white glaze during kiln firing. Each dish is designed with a scalloped edge and features an intricate layout of radial floral sprays framing a central geometric medallion, complete with embossed shell or scroll details molded directly into the ceramic rim.
