Manufactured by the historic The Furniture Shops of Grand Rapids in Grand Rapids, Michigan, this classic 1920s–1940s Martha Washington sewing cabinet is masterfully crafted from premium mahogany wood. The iconic Federal Revival silhouette features a central column of three stacked, rectangular drawers flanked by two deep, semi-oval fabric and yarn storage compartments with accessible flip-top lids. A look at the very top reveals an elegant, oval foliate pattern decorated with golden-yellow flowers and green leaves centered across the surface. While its traditional wood finish has been modernized with a dark charcoal-gray paint wash, the piece still proudly displays its signature design roots and early 20th-century American craftsmanship through six spherical brass drawer pulls, slender fluted legs, and structurally durable dovetailed drawers.
