An exceptional mid to early 19th century primitive American Plantation writing desk / hutch / cupboard / cabinet. Made cherry finished Pine and Poplar featuring two piece construction with upper bookshelf cabinet supported by a lower drop front secretary with long turned legs and two drawers. The secretary opens to a large work area with multiple drawers and cubbies, a spot for your inkwell, and a very nicely concealed secret hidden compartment below the drawers.
