Description
An exceptional early 19th Century William IV Writing Table. Features a rectangular form with green tooled leather inset top over a frieze of two false drawers. Along the right side of the desk is a pull for a hand dovetailed drawer with compartment. This drawer orignally was hidden and would have been accesed via the groove along its underside. At some point in the 20th century a hand turned wooden pull was added. The desk is supported by four turned legs with ribbed accents and arrow feet. Whether it is used as a library table. writing desk, console it'll make a charming addition to any space.
