Description

Early 20th century, circa 1930's, pair of cold painted spelter bronze figural bookends attributed to J.B. Hirch. Metal figurines with plastic/celluloid hands and heads, in the shape of men in light blue-teal painted Chinese clothing, holding a bowls with chopsticks. Mounted on L-shaped plinths of black marble.

Condition

Paint loss, chipping, missing hands, hand replaced, cracked ankles on one.
