An equisite pair of 20th century Chinese Famille Rose Planters, Jardinieries or Cache Pots. Feature ornately decorated heaxagonal polychrome porcelain form with koi fish painted along the inside. The exterior has a beautiful alternating pattern of oriental figures set between a flowing pattern of insects, chrysanthemums, foliate and decorative wares over gold. A true pair with mirrored scenes. One shows two musicians with a geisha or dancer holding a lotus flower. Another shows three wise men or elders and the last shows a large man with child holding a basket of flowers. The lip of each vase has a vibrant green repeating wavecrest pattern along the outside and the tops have a colorful scene of birds, foliate and lotus flowers. The vase rest on wooden scrolled stands and are stamped along the base. A chrarming addition and statement in any space!
