The Painter’s Family after Jacob Jordaens, circa late 20th century.
The original Flemish Baroque piece was completed around 1621. Depicting the artist with his wife Catharina van Noort and their first child, Elizabenth. The woman with the basket appears to be their housemaid. Jacob is standing with his foot on a chair leg with a lute in hand. The painting is on canvas with natural craquelure to give the sign of age. Signed lower right. Ornately framed with a gold finish.
