A framed etching showing the home stretch of a horse race at the Hippodrome de Vincennes in Paris. A famous horse racing facility built in 1863 and restored / rebuilt in 1879 after the Franco-Prussian War. The track holds up to 40,000 spectators. In 1934, the track was devoted to trotters and harness racing, as seen in this artwork. In 1920, the Prix d’Amérique was hosted there.

The artwork is framed in black with gold trim and marked along the backside.
