Two vintage 20th century floating dairy thermometers - glass thermometers with a loop for attaching a cord or chain, designed to float in milk or water to indicate fluid temperature in the pasteurization of milk or making of cheese. Indicates temperature on the Fahrenheit scale from 20 degrees to 300 degrees. Longer one has a temperature scale painted on exterior. Smaller one (Made in Germany) enclosed a paper temperature scale.
