Description
Vintage 2003 Jeff Stapleton print depicting a blueprint diagram and techinical specifications of the 1903 Wright Flyer Aeroplane, celebrating 100 Years of Flight. Pencil signed and numbered 129/2003. Plain black frame; black mat.
"Jeffrey A. Stapleton was born in 1960 in the central farmland of Tipton, Indiana, an area renowned for its loud shouting, expansive fields of corn and beans and rampant exaggeration about tractors. He went to art school, but didn’t really pay attention and then got a job with a Dayton, Ohio art studio where he was famed for scribbling silly characters, drawing without looking and such. Probably. A chance meeting with a new design firm saw him cast in the role that turned into a career and the rest is history. Except for jet packs, which are the future. More to come I'm sure."
