Description

Includes plates, bowls, cups, saucers, gravy boat, cream, sugar, covered casserole / vegetable serving dish / bowl.

"Porzellanfabrik Adolf Persch, Werk Elbogen (1902 until 1934) - In 1901, Adolf Persch (whose family already owned a factory in the small town of Hegewald) purchased the Porzellanfabrik 'Austria' factory, previously run by his brother in law Karl Speck and Benjamin F. Hunt. The next years were the first in factory history that passed without larger problems, business prospered because of the experience and contacts the Persch family provided. Running two factories however turned out to be fatal following the World Financial Crisis and even if the Porzellanfabrik Adolf Persch managed to survive at first, the factories in the end had to be put up for auction.
