Description
Six framed antique colored botanical engravings from a series titled “Twelve Months of Flowers,” original produced in the 1730’s to advertise Robert Furber's plant and seed catalog. People could select the flowers of the month and buy the seeds by using the numbers referenced at the bottom. Furber commissioned painter Peter Casteels and engraver Henry Fletcher to create the images. Includes January, February, April, May, September and November.
