Vintage Hong Horizons canton ware hand painted cloisonne double happiness / marriage porcelain bowl, dish or wall plaque featuring butterflies, lotus flowers, chrysanthemums and a plum flower. Made in Hong Kong and Jingdezhen.

The back of this plate reads: 喜/xǐ/:happy, joyful.
Please note, when you put (1) and (2) together, it become double happiness (喜+喜=囍), which is a
traditional design and commonly used as a symbol of marriage.
We can see almost two of everything: two butterflies, two lotus flowers, two chrysanthemums, and
one plum flower in the center.

Chinese ceramics for centuries.
