Description
A beautiful Italian Neoclassical nightstand or chevet table from the last quarter of the 19th century. Rectangular in form with slight bowfront and graceful brass capped columns along the front. Made from walnut and olive ash burl with banding, figural inlay and marble top. The central cameo inlay features a Grecian woman holding an amphora or wine jug on her shoulders.
Condition
Good Antique Condition with some distressing and wear commensurate with age. Missing veneer along right side lower trim. This can be replaced if interested. The marble lined interior is missing on the right side.
