Description
19th century Italian 'centre' table. Features a florentine style inlaid marquetry top of Walnut, Mahogany, Fruitwood and Exotic Macassar Ebony at the center, in a matchbook veneer pattern. Scalloped edge with brass gadrooning along the trim and a bronze crest or sheild at each quarter. The table is supported by a turned ballaster leading to four legs with bronze caps. The base is ordainded in Neoclassical or Rococo style bronze ribbon motif. At 35" height, a stately edition to any entryway, parlor or office.
Condition
Good antique condition with use commensurate with age. Surface wear, marks, warping and splitting from years of use. Bronze trim warped in a few spots
