Rare Brydia heraldic crest painting. Description on back details as: A silver sheild back, a black stripe between three martlets. In the upper left hand corner there is a small red square with a silver formed cross in it. The formed cross is the symbol of a christian champion that protects the weak from injury. The martlet is also simbolic of a christian champion that worked diligently. The Brydia coat of arts is recorded in Burk's Armory the 1884 edition.
