Description

An exceptional example of dual function furniture from the early part of the 20th century. This beautiful mission grandfather clock is mounted within an oak case with lower shelves for storage. The cabinet is made from solid oak with a lockable door and glass panel allowing the pendulum to be seen. The clock is fully functioning, keeping time nicely and striking properly. The movement is not marked leading to me believe it is an early kit. Clock face is made from paper which is mounted to a piece of metal for securing to the case. The lock to this gem is from the Corbin Cabinet Lock Company. Corbin's rich history dates back to 1882.
