Description

Up for consideration is a stunning pair of Sèvres cachepots. Sèvres was one of the principal porcelain manufacturers in all of Europe that opened in the 18th century. Their pieces were consistently seen amongst political, royal and imperial order. Their principle mark of crossed "L"s or "double Louis" distinguish each piece. These gorgeous cachepots bear a "P" within this mark which dates them to 1768. These ornamental flower holders are made from porcelain with a turquoise color. Each is exquisitely detailed with Botanicals and scenes from the American Revolution. Trimmed in gold with a filigree design amongst red and white beads. The perfect compliment to any setting.
