Late 19th century Victorian platform rocker. Mission style with a shield back leading down towards spindles and a bentwood seat. Features a carved front with french inspiration showing acorns, leaves and bell horn design over a ribboned accent. Sides show a pressed oak floral pattern. The platform design incorporates a cast iron swing support that was patented in May 29th, 1888. A beautiful work of art that will be a great addition to any setting.
