Description

A neat portrait of a distinguished gentleman in suit and glasses. Signed John Sperry 1966. This piece is painted on board. In the background the words Caveat Emptor can be seen. This is the principle that the buyer alone is responsible for checking the quality and suitability of goods before a purchase is made. Judging by this frame the gentleman must have been in some type of sales. The piece is framed in wood with a distressed gold finish.

Condition

Gently Used, some foxing to the board near his right shoulder.
