Description

Berkey & Gay was one of the largest and most prominent manufacturers working in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Their furniture was known for grandeur and luxurious qualities. This early 20th century sideboard is made from Mahogany with beautifully flamed front panels between 1905-29. Sheraton/Duncan phyfe style with a long body supported by 8 legs. Features 3 central drawers flanked by outer cabinets. The top surface is large, with a nice depth making it perfect for serving and entertaining. Includes a neatly scrolled back-splash.

Condition

A very solid piece with some signs of use and age. The top surface has impressions and marking as seen in the photos. In addition there is some marking, distressing and light crazing to the finish. Left interior cabinet drawer missing. If interested this is something we can have fabricated.
