Description
Up for consideration is a massive circular leaded stained glass window. Circa 1880-1890. This window came from the Old Central Christian Church built in 1890 at 29 Brown St in Dayton, Ohio. The window which is in exceptional condition for its age features vibrant greens, blues, amber and hints of red. Set in a 7" thick oval frame with a white painted finish on one side, and natural wood along the other. An amazing piece architectural salvage that will make a statement in any setting.
Condition
The window is in very good shape for its age. The central panel which once sat in the middle is no longer with it. There are some small hairlines in the slag glass. I was only able to find one tiny chip where the light is let through. This can be seen in the last photo. There is some paint loss on the white side from over a centuries use and some molding missing.
