McKinney and Hall lithographs paid homage to the Indian tribes of North America. These lithographs were based on oil paintings by Charles Bird King for the three volume set "History of the Indian Tribes of North America" (1837-44). Each lithograph is hand colored and professionally framed. Along the bottom there is information about the publishers, and the date of publication. 2 of the pieces have the original narative along the back that coincides with the artwork.
