Meiji period Japanese settee. Made from from Rosewood and elaborately carved in high relief with a pierced back, coiling dragons, curved arms and winged dragon legs. The seat features a Greek Key band and 2 colorful hand painted rounded dragons. Both arms feature inlaid bovine eyes.
