This is a gorgeous piece of early photography. It is a 1/9th plate tintype photograph of a man in turn of the century attire. The photo is in a leather case that has a brass latch on the outside. The inside of the piece has lovely red velvet and the photo is matted in brass foil and covered in glass. This is an absolutely beautiful piece and it would make a wonderful addition to your home or collection.

Some Age and Use Related Wear
The case has some wear to it mainly some scuffing to the front and the side has a fabric hinge to it which has some splitting to it. The photo is in excellent condition with some minor wear to the edges by the matting other than that this piece is in excellent condition with very little to no visible wear.
