Antique 1870s Chippendale Style Kneehole Writing Desk Carved Walnut Granite Top
An exquisitely hand crafted Victorian era knee-hole writing desk.  Circa 1850-1870s, Chippendale style.  Made from Walnut with burlwood panels, and intricately carved floral and scrolled detail.  Rests on bun feet.  Each of the 9 drawers are hand dovetailed and lockable with elegant brass hardware.  
The Granite top was a later addition as well as the molding that neatly frames it.  A true display of antique craftsmanship.  
This piece will be hand delivered and placed in your home.
This piece is in good antique condition with some use related wear.  The crown that frames in the marble as well as the stone was a later addition.  There is a nail on the front of the crown that was added to keep the crown even.  Key is functional for all drawers
