The piece was inspected by both Christies (N.Y.) & Bonhams in early 2000s and dated to the 17th Century. In addition it was examined Yoder Conservation art galleries in Cleveland, Ohio and determined to be circa 1750. Theydeterminedthat the paper in Paul's hand is from the Book of Ephesians. Inscription on Paper: Omnes filii Dei estis per fidem, quae est in Christo Iesu. ----- For you are all the children of God by faith, in Christ Jesus. (Galatians 3:26)
