An amazing Jacobean/ Gothic Revival Dining Room Table. Extendable up to 14 feet 4". Made from Quartersawn oak with a carved apron showing 2 layers of intricate craftsmanship. The upper surface is gadrooned while the lower tier shows carved orbs. The table is supported by 2 balusters on each side that link up with a central leg for reinforcement. When extended an additional 2 legs lower to steady the leafs. Each baluster has a double gourded shape. The upper is reeded, while the lower is acanthus carved. The three legs connect on a boomerang support that then leads to the 4 paw and bun feet. Beneath each foot is a caster for ease of moment.

Condition
Marking & Finish Loss. Some Missing Trim. There is chip or small piece of wood missing where one of the leaves comes together on the top surface. This can be seen in the photos. There are some rings and other marks on the top surface. Once fully extended the table surface does not sit perfectly level as some of the leafs have warped over the years.
