A lovely oil on canvas. Originally purchased from Britain,Circa 1750-1820. Titled Temple in the trees. Features a lady looking over a hillside vista down upon amountainousvalley. She is carrying a bundle of wheat, anda temple can be seen off in the distance. 20th Century wooden frame with gesso, finished in Gold.
Condition
Painting was relined at some point. Wear to the edges of the backside of canvas. Gesso loss to the frame on the right side.
